Job Summary
Own full-cycle accounting as the sole day-to-day finance hire on a lean team, managing AP, AR, cash management, GL reconciliations, and month-end close. Conduct hands-on NetSuite administration and cost accounting/gross margin analysis while demonstrating analytical and budgeting abilities in a manufacturing environment. Work independently with minimal oversight in a financially disciplined, cash-conscious setting, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. This individual-contributor seat offers real visibility and no red tape for a candidate with 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (AP, AR, cash management, GL reconciliations, month-end close)
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Demonstrated analytical/budgeting ability — not purely transactional
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Comfortable in a financially disciplined, cash-conscious environment
- Minimum 3 days/week onsite
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CMA
- Manufacturing, software, or technology industry background
- NetSuite super-user/admin-level proficiency
- Cost accounting / gross margin analysis experience
- Payroll backup experience
