Job Summary
Perform a variety of accounting, analytical, and financial reporting duties to ensure client and investor activity reports are prepared and completed appropriately. Serve as a technical accounting expert and subject matter advisor on significant business and accounting decisions, assisting in preparing, compiling, and verifying external client and regulatory reporting. Research recent accounting developments, interpret their impact, and disseminate findings to managers and partners. Communicate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies on accounting or disclosure issues, conduct special analysis and projects, and help train and monitor team member performance.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of private equity accounting experience
- related business degree
- minimum of 3 years client servicing or related experience
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- exhibiting initiative
- leadership
- flexibility
- formal education in accounting and/or related business degree
- CPA accreditation
- understand the complexities of the private equity markets via their past work experience
- experience with Investran
- experience with MS Suite of Systems (Excel/Access/Word)
- intermediate/advanced level
