Job Summary
Senior Hospital Accountant responsible for the monthly close, budgeting, and financial reporting for the assigned facility(s). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and timely reporting. Key duties include preparing annual operating budgets and model tables for revenue/volume budgets, assisting with annual audit schedules and year-end reconciliations, performing ongoing balance sheet analysis, coordinating with facility and corporate leadership, and providing financial training and support to facility teams. The role requires a BA/BS in accounting and strong accounting software experience (Workday preferred); CPA is preferred. Must be able to work overtime as needed and operate in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
- 5 or more years of experience
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Experience with monthly close and budgeting
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excel experience (Ten key by touch)
- Overtime as needed
