Job Summary
The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee financial operations for New Zealand, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, managing journal entries and general ledger, overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, as well as leading annual audits. The role requires strong accounting expertise, analytical skills to interpret financial results, and the ability to communicate complex topics effectively to non-finance staff. Successful candidates will demonstrate a keen business awareness, adaptability, and a detail-oriented work ethic, engaging in process improvements and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
