Job Summary
Dart Container is seeking a Senior Accountant to own complex accounting areas, prepare and post advanced journal entries, and assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting. Responsibilities include account reconciliations, creating reports, and maintaining compliance with GAAP while collaborating with internal departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or related field of study
- Four (4) years of accounting experience with a focus in manufacturing industry accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPA license, OR five (5) years of progressive GAAP accounting experience with a focus in manufacturing or equivalent combination of experience
- Ability to comprehend and account for moderately complex business transactions, in compliance with GAAP
- Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal customers
- Proven analytical problem solver
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- ERP systems experience (SAP preferred)
- Intercompany transactions
- Exposure to large data sets or complex environments
- Power BI or similar tools (nice to have)
