Sr. Accountant (CPA)

Job Summary
Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management while ensuring strict compliance with US taxation laws. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support client acquisition, and oversee accounts receivable and payable processes involving invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Maintain current financial records using QuickBooks, analyze data for actionable insights, and facilitate client onboarding. Provide mentorship to junior staff and may participate in external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation. Assist in automating systems and designing processes impacting financial statements. Requires a CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential, 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related
- CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax
- Comfort with, and interest in, client acquisition and business development activities
- Growth-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in long-term career advancement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
- Experience with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be dependable, able to work independently, and stay on task
- Positive and team player personality
- Strong attention to meticulous details
- High perseverance and end-result-oriented work habits
- Fast learner, ability to master new concepts quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree is a plus
- Experience in Public Accounting is preferred
- International Tax Law knowledge is a PLUS
