Sr Accountant / Cost Accountant

Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, depreciation, and adjustments while performing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts including banks, intercompany, and fixed assets. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budget and prior periods, and support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate transaction recording. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. Maintain the fixed asset ledger, calculate depreciation, and reconcile physical inventories while preparing detailed reports on movements and valuations for management review. Record cash receipts, clear checks, and perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to resolve discrepancies. Calculate and record broker commissions based on sales agreements, ensuring timely payments and reconciling commission accounts.
