Sr Accountant, Accounts Receivable - Luxembourg

Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day Accounts Receivable accounting activities, including customer account reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries. Prepare AR reporting packages and support month-end and year-end closing in line with US GAAP/IFRS standards. Review AR aging and balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support periodic VAT reporting and transfer pricing schedules. Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and Customer Service to ensure accurate billing and cash application while preparing documentation for internal and external audits. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within AR.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role
- Very good command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with an ERP system (Oracle experience is an advantage but not required)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP and/or IFRS) is an advantage
- Solid understanding of VAT concepts is an advantage
- Experience with intercompany accounting or transfer pricing fundamentals is an advantage
- Experience in a multinational or shared service environment is a plus
- Strong team-player mindset and collaborative approach
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and reconciliation skills
- Dutch language skills are an asset
