Job Summary
Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for large, complex cities and affiliated organizations while deepening relationships with high-level accounts. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations to gain access to executive decision makers and understand complex budgeting processes. Articulate the value of Esri technology to optimize and expand adoption of geospatial solutions for major cities. Proactively execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals and evaluate work against customer needs. Collaborate with teams across Esri and business partners to lead account strategies and mentor team members. Requires 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, advanced GIS knowledge, and 25-50% travel. Base salary ranges from $114,400 to $218,400 USD.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers
- Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies
- Advanced knowledge of large, complex government organizations and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and enterprise government operations as they relate to one another
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
