Sr Account Manager Datacom

Job Summary
Develop new business and grow existing accounts by selling Network Cabling, Data Center, and Network Hardware Solutions while managing support functions essential to sales productivity. Identify opportunities to maximize ADI presence and market share, prepare customer presentations, and act as an escalation point for critical issues to ensure client retention. Actively engage with Datacom Vendors to develop a regional go-to-market strategy and support the sales team as a subject matter expert. This role requires 3-5+ years of Datacom industry experience, specifically in Networking Cabling Infrastructure, and includes a 70% business development/30% account management split. Candidates must reside in the Woburn and Canton, Massachusetts territory, hold a valid driver's license, and demonstrate proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 3- 5+ years of experience Datacom industry experience specifically Networking Cabling Infrastructure Solution
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Must live within the territory of Woburn, and Canton, Massachusetts
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
- Proven ability to cold call on customers to obtain new business
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership, work well with little to no supervision, results-driven, self-motivated
- Experience negotiating with key stakeholders at leading enterprise companies

- Established relationships in the Datacom industry preferred with potential clients and marketing ideas
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Strong listening and attention to detail skills
