Sr. Account Manager - Brand Consulting

Job Summary

Liaise with brand clients and properties including MLB and local partners to provide strategic leadership and execute annual partnerships and tentpole events. Negotiate incremental and existing partnerships with talent and properties while managing contracts, scopes, and account finances. Prepare executive-facing materials such as strategy plans, run of shows, and dashboards. Manage on-site event logistics and execution, including travel, site visits, and on-call availability for nights and weekends. Drive recommendation, negotiation, and management of talent deals in partnership with cross-functional groups. Manage at least one direct report.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline
  • At least 6-8+ years of experience in marketing and brand partnerships
  • Work experience in an ad/marketing agency
  • Live event experience
  • General understanding of current brand consulting industry and the nature of a talent agency
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented with ability to pivot and take on new tasks quickly
  • Must have experience managing at least one person including writing/delivering performance reviews, managing workload and providing constructive feedback
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, coordinate key timelines and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Interest, knowledge and passion for sports, entertainment and pop culture
  • Technologically Savvy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Keynote, Photoshop, Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Slack)
  • Social Media/Digitally versed
  • Must be able to travel throughout the year, nights and weekends to attend events, meetings, perform site visits, etc.
  • Must be able to work early mornings and late nights, as needed
  • Must be based in Seattle, Washington

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with leading/managing Talent deals and Talent-led programming
