Sr. Account Executive, Commercial, State and Local Government

Job Summary
Senior-level account executive responsible for driving the full sales cycle with Commercial, State and Local Government accounts. Duties include qualifying opportunities, performing product demonstrations via screen sharing/video conferencing, building relationships with potential and current customers, providing accurate forecast reports, navigating complex sales cycles, staying informed on product releases, and leveraging consultative selling and large account management to close deals. Must develop and manage multiple deals with a high likelihood of achieving quota, present value and differentiation to executives, travel to customer sites to develop relationships, and operate within a remote-first, high-velocity environment with a focus on government verticals and enterprise cybersecurity solutions. Strong emphasis on prospecting, pipeline development, CRM usage (Salesforce), and effective communication across all levels of management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of related experience in sales or leadership roles
- Proven, successful sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions and data/subscription software
- Hunter mentality; prospecting and pipeline development
- Coachable and receptive to feedback
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Ability to travel
