Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment while performing lubrication and preventative maintenance. Assist the electronic technician with electrical duties and execute welding, machining, and millwright tasks. Assemble new equipment, enter work orders into the Maintenance Management System, and interpret blueprints. Identify parts to support inventory coordination and maintain equipment in good running order through route checks. Ensure job sites remain clean and hazard-free by following GMP practices and LOTO procedures. Interact with the production supervisor and assist on the production line when needed. Maintain professional certifications and stay updated on procedures and policies. Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and loud noise, including occasional nights, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school or Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or 6 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Strong background in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Machining experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good communication skill
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to work overtime on an as needed basis
- Willingness to be on-call
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends
- Ability to ensure consistent, dependable attendance
- Willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours
- Capability to effectively manage job-related stress
- Capability to foster productive workplace interactions
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
- Ability to work in loud noise
