SQL Server Database Administrator

Job Summary
Administer and support SQL Server, Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, and Aurora PostgreSQL databases, handling installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and migrations. Perform daily monitoring, health checks, performance tuning, and query optimization while managing backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions. Troubleshoot production incidents, prepare root cause analyses, and enforce security controls including access management and encryption. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, SQL scripting, and Terraform, while maintaining runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation. Work full-time with a schedule from 4:45p to 1:15a, with in-office collaboration three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in managing, monitoring, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases
