Job Summary
SQL Developer contract role with Dellfor Technologies requiring extensive SQL Server experience (2018-era variants 2008–2016) and strong data-design skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of work experience and 5-7+ years with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016 T-SQL coding
- Experience with index design and T-SQL performance tuning techniques
- Experience with advanced query design, stored procedures, views and functions
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale database solutions that are reliable and scalable
- Working knowledge of security and privacy issues related to SQL Server 2008/2014
- Familiarity with RDBMS principles, database design and normalization
- Previous experience with SSIS and SSRS is preferred
- Demonstrates initiative and works independently with minimal supervision
- Exposure to Database Administration such as replication, backup/restore strategies, clustering, log-shipping is a plus
- Demonstrated technical leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical personnel
- Ability to stay current with rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
- Junior to senior range may involve leadership responsibilities and collaboration with teams
