Job Summary
SQL Database Administrator responsible for managing and developing databases in a DoD environment. Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures; SQL tuning; XML technologies; data modeling and architecture; advise software development teams; analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions. On-site role in Fayetteville, NC and Fort Bragg, NC. Requires Active TS/SCI clearance, 8 years of progressive experience with Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL, ability to administer and deploy server equipment, strong communication skills, and currency in DoD 8570.01 level certification. Desired: Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience; MCSA SQL Server certifications. Travel up to 10% continental US.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture
- Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01
