Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s SQF program to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company food safety and quality standards. Lead certification efforts and foster a culture of food safety. Responsibilities include enforcing food safety standards across warehouse operations, updating policies to meet SQF requirements, managing vendor contracts for materials, training employees on policies, maintaining training records, overseeing pest control and sanitation programs, ensuring HACCP compliance and CAPA knowledge, monitoring for safety/quality issues, administering the work order system, and supporting SQF audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Designated SQF Practitioner by senior management, meeting SQF Code requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of SQF standards, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to train and coach employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience managing pest control, sanitation, and preventive maintenance programs preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse or food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
