Job Summary
SQF Practitioner responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining food safety programs (GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs) and ensuring SQF compliance. Duties include directing QC/food safety efforts, reviewing and updating SSOPs, GMPs, and HACCP plans, performing audits and inspections (monthly internal audits and coordination of third-party audits), verifying CCP procedures and raw material/finished product specifications, maintaining documentation, and leading the SQF certification process. Requires strong attention to detail, experience with audits, English proficiency, and ability to work with production teams to uphold quality standards. Location is San Marcos, CA (on-site). Shift is Monday–Friday with overtime and potential weekends. Skills: lab experience preferred, SQF auditing experience preferred, documentation and reporting, and teamwork to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
