Job Summary
Coordinate and verify the implementation of SQF programs, including annual reviews for SQF and FDA compliance and continual monitoring of production. Assist the QA Manager in validating food safety plans (HACCP, FDA Preventive Controls) and pre-requisite programs such as employee hygiene, pest control, and sanitation. Work directly with production management and hourly personnel to ensure program implementation, while maintaining databases for packaging materials, ingredients, and finished products. Conduct random direct observations to verify HACCP and SOP adherence, review and trend data to identify improvement opportunities, and assist in training team members across all plant areas. Support the QA Lab team with on-the-job tasks and issue resolution.
