Job Summary
Develop and commission PLC controls for special machines and complex industrial plants using Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, or comparable systems. Design and implement HMI/SCADA solutions, integrate motion control, vision, and robotics, and connect fieldbus systems like Profinet and EtherCAT. Perform system testing, FAT/SAT, and customer on-site commissioning while analyzing errors and optimizing existing automation setups. Coordinate technically with electrical design, software development, and project leadership. Requires multiple years of PLC programming experience and knowledge of industrial protocols. Full-time position in Griffen, Austria, with flexible hours and remote work options available.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik oder Informatik
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der SPS-Programmierung mit mindestens einem der folgenden oder vergleichbaren Systemen: Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens (TIA Portal / Step 7), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), B&R oder Codesys
- Erfahrung in der Projektierung von HMI-, SCADA- oder Visualisierungssystemen (z. B. WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition)
- Kenntnisse in industriellen Kommunikationsprotokollen wie Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC UA oder Ethernet/IP
- Grundlegendes Verständnis von Niederspannungs- und Schaltanlagentechnik
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Teamfähigkeit
- Reisebereitschaft für Inbetriebnahmen, überwiegend innerhalb Europas
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrung im Bereich Motion Control, Antriebstechnik, Vision-Systeme oder Robotik von Vorteil
