Job Summary
Operate sewing machines to join turf sections, braided yarn strips, or leno cloth for rugs and runners while adjusting settings for different fabrics and stitching techniques. Monitor and troubleshoot machine operations to maintain smooth production flow, inspect finished products for quality and alignment, and perform routine maintenance including cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area. Shifts run Monday through Friday with 8, 10, or 12-hour days.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in carpet or textile manufacturing
- Familiarity with various sewing machines and their operations
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and patterns
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle materials turf as you pulling off core by hand
- Must be available for 1st Monday – Friday shifts
- Must be able to work 8, 10, or 12-hour days
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to work with heavy materials
- Must be able to operate industrial sewing equipment
