Job Summary
Negotiate rates and select loads for local, regional, or OTR routes without forced dispatch. Build your own schedule while maintaining a Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight that is 2015 or newer. Ensure your vehicle meets inside dimensions of 120x50x50 inches and holds valid U.S. driver's license, commercial insurance, and passport/green card for Canada availability. Avoid operators with active USDOT or authorized MC numbers. Receive weekly paychecks every Friday via ACH with 24/7 operational and tracking support. Empire National Inc., based in Fletcher, NC, is an active interstate freight carrier authorized under MC966111 and USDOT 2878524 since August 11, 2016.
Required Qualifications
- Must own a Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight
- Inside dimensions minimum: 120x50x50 inches
- Vehicle 2015 or newer, good condition, no stickers
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Commercial insurance: $1,000,000 Auto Liability, $100,000 Motor Cargo ($1,000 deductible)
- Passport and Green Card (Canada availability required)
- No active USDOT or authorized MC numbers
