Job Summary
Conduct freight hauling as an owner-operator using your own Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight. Select loads locally, regionally, or on the road and negotiate rates based on load, location, and customer. Maintain a 2015 or newer vehicle in good condition with no stickers, ensuring it meets minimum inside dimensions of 120x50x50 inches. Hold a valid U.S. driver's license, commercial insurance totaling $1,100,000, and a passport and Green Card for Canada availability. Build your own schedule without forced dispatch, receiving weekly paychecks every Friday via ACH. Empire National Inc., based in Fletcher, NC, provides 24/7 operational and tracking support to its owner-operators.
