Job Summary
Conduct long-haul freight operations as an owner-operator using your own 2016 or newer Sprinter or cargo van, ensuring it meets safety standards with four straps and PPE. Accept personalized loads negotiated with dispatchers who have extensive broker contacts, with rates ranging from $0.85 to $1.55 per mile depending on area and destination. Maintain vehicle registration and insurance on file while adhering to Monday-Friday schedules between ages 21 and 25. Submit applications to execute a written independent contractor agreement under VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER, targeting a minimum average monthly salary of $8,000.
Required Qualifications
- Own vehicle (Sprinter / Cargo Van)
- US citizen, resident, green card or work authorization holder
- At least 21 years of age
- Speak, understand, and read basic English
- Approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER
- Sprinter not older than 2016
- Vehicle has a minimum of 4 straps and PPE
- Decals removed from vehicle
- Inform company before making changes to vehicle
- Send registration and insurance for vehicle
- Driving experience of 6 months
- Minimum average monthly salary of $8,000
