Job Summary
Operate a Sprinter or cargo van as an independent owner-operator under Victoria Logistics Carrier's contract agreement, negotiating rates between $0.85 and $1.55 per mile depending on mileage and area. Select personalized loads from dispatchers with four years of experience, ensuring all vehicles are no older than 2016, equipped with four straps and PPE, and have decals removed. Maintain a minimum average monthly salary of $8,000 by driving during Monday-to-Friday shifts, providing registration and insurance, and reporting any vehicle changes before hitting the road.
Required Qualifications
- Own vehicle (Sprinter / Cargo Van)
- US citizen, resident, green card or work authorization holder
- At least 21 years of age
- Speak, understand, and read basic English
- Approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER
- Sprinter not older than 2016
- Vehicle has a minimum of 4 straps and PPE
- All decals removed
- Inform company before making changes to the vehicle
- Send registration and insurance for the vehicle
- Driving experience of 6 months
- Minimum average monthly salary of $8,000
