Job Summary
Operate Sprinter or cargo van as an independent owner-operator under a written contract with Victoria Logistics Carrier. Accept personalized loads negotiated with dispatchers at competitive rates ranging from $0.85 to $1.55 per mile depending on area and destination. Maintain a vehicle no older than 2016 with required straps, PPE, and updated registration/insurance, reporting any modifications prior to use. Drive Monday through Friday with a minimum six months of experience and basic English proficiency. Submit application to execute the independent contractor agreement and receive payment within 3-5 business days.
Required Qualifications
- Own vehicle (Sprinter/Cargo Van)
- US citizenship, residency, green card, or work authorization
- Age of at least 21 years
- Ability to speak, understand, and read basic English
- Approval, acceptance, and registration with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER
- Independent contractor status (not a company driver)
- Vehicle not older than 2016
- Vehicle equipped with minimum of 4 straps and PPE
- All decals removed from vehicle
- Process to inform company of vehicle changes before putting vehicle on road
- Submission of vehicle registration and insurance
- Driving experience of 6 months
- Minimum average monthly salary of $8,000
