Job Summary
Conduct long-haul freight transport using your own Sprinter or cargo van under an independent contractor agreement. Select personalized loads from dispatchers who manage extensive broker contacts, with rates ranging from $0.85 to $1.55 per mile depending on distance and region. Maintain vehicle compliance by ensuring the unit is no older than 2016, equipped with four straps and PPE, and remove all decals before operation. Submit registration and insurance documents to the HR department for approval to accept loads, while adhering to a Monday-Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Own vehicle (Sprinter / Cargo Van)
- US citizen, resident, green card or work authorization holder
- At least 21 years of age
- Speak, understand, and read basic English
- Approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER to accept a load from the company
- Sprinter not older than 2016
- Vehicle has a minimum of 4 straps and PPE
- All decals removed
- Inform company before making any changes to the vehicle
- Send registration and insurance for the vehicle
- Driving experience of 6 months
- Minimum average monthly salary of $8,000
