Job Summary
Install, service, inspect, and program commercial fire alarm systems while troubleshooting panels, wiring, and devices per NFPA 72 and local codes. Respond to service calls, including some after-hours work, and pull and terminate standard low-voltage cabling. Provide clear documentation and communicate directly with clients when needed. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, NICET Level II certification, and a valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and work at heights over 10 feet is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of fire codes and installation best practices
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable working at heights over 10 feet
- Able to work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
