Job Summary
Service Engineer role based in Manchester, covering PPM and small works across multiple buildings. Responsible for servicing valve sets (wet/dry/alternate/deluge/pre-Action), conducting 5-point flow tests on sprinkler pumps, and carrying out general service checks. Requires plumbing/piping knowledge and fault finding on sprinkler systems, plus a full UK driving license for regional work; DBS check may be required. UK-based opportunity with company van, fuel card, pension, 25 days holiday, and 40-hour workweek (Mon–Fri).
Required Qualifications
- Experience servicing valve sets (Wet, dry, alternate, deluge, pre-Action) (essential)
- Experience carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
- Experience in Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
- Full UK driving license capable of covering a regional role (essential)
- Sprinkler Installation Level 2 (desirable)
- Experience in Commercial/Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
- Experience in small works install (desirable)
- Experience with electronic reporting (desirable)
