Job Summary
Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems while diagnosing deficiencies and recommending corrective actions. Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company procedures. Accurately complete required documentation and inspection reports, maintain a clean work environment, and communicate effectively with customers and internal team members. Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed while traveling to job sites. Requires a high school diploma, three years of fire and life safety industry experience, and RME-I certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician
- RME-I
- Must have a clean driving record
- Active driver's license (if driving is required)
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Texas Fire Alarm License
- NICET Level I or above
