Job Summary
Install and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems for commercial applications, including piping, valves, and accessories. Prepare accurate documentation, complete monthly vehicle reports, and maintain truck inventory. Adhere to safety policies while ensuring a positive customer experience. Obtain and retain required product certifications and licenses. Work a full-time, flexible schedule with on-call availability, driving vehicles for extended periods and traveling on short notice. Handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various positions such as ladders and crawl spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School/Vocational training
- one (1) year of experience in all fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry)
- ability to learn NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24
- valid driver's license
- ability to clear a drug screening
- ability to read and interpret applicable documents, materials, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English
- ability to obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes
- ability to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
- ability to work a full-time, flexible schedule with on call availability
- ability to travel on short notice
- ability to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
