Job Summary
Maintain the hotel building, pool, and grounds equipment to ensure guest rooms and public areas remain in complete working order and mechanically sound. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, perform minor repairs including painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring, and operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment. Communicate with the supervisor regarding repair status, guest complaints, inventory levels, and unusual situations while completing department paperwork and following operational procedures. Meet scheduling availability requirements for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 2 years of maintenance or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling techniques
- Knowledge of proper maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of requirements and use of equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of electrical systems
- Working knowledge of plumbing systems
- Ability to operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment
- Must have ability to operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment
