Job Summary
Drive trucks to customers in Springfield, MO, adhering to Monday–Saturday schedules with 3AM–6AM shifts averaging 10–12 hours. Safely unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, then verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures. Handle collections and payments while performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Maintain a valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements, hold at least six months of commercial driving experience, and register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse. This role supports US Foods' mission to provide food products to 300,000 restaurants, offering hotel and per diem for overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
- Some travel and overnights required to other domicile locations
- Hotel and per diem provided
- Schedule: Monday – Saturday typically 3AM – 6AM Avg 10-12 hour shifts
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
