Spring/Summer Communications Intern

Job Summary
Develop ideas for social media posts conforming to USLCI/INEX and Speedway Motorsports standards, then post and manage created content across all channels. Conduct interviews for a weekly featured driver segment and manage Sprout Platform Tagging. Travel to document and create content for the INEX Banquet, Winter Nationals, Charlotte Road Course Series, Spring Nationals, Cook Out Summer Shootout, and Thursday Thunder. Work on-location at events and within manufacturing facilities, utilizing DSLR skills for short-form video and photo editing. Assist the Communications Manager in promoting stories to reach USLCI, INEX, and broader audiences.
Required Qualifications

- Exceptional social media ethics
- Short form video and photo editing skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail is essential
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Self-starter, highly motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to remain productive in high-paced and slow-paced environments
- Proficient oral, written, and digital communication skills
- Ability to travel to events and work select weekends
- Willingness to learn
- Required to be present at the U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX Racing Series offices in Harrisburg, North Carolina a minimum of 10 hours a week
- Required work and travel to the INEX Banquet, INEX Winter Nationals, Charlotte Road Course Series, INEX Spring Nationals, Cook Out Summer Shootout, and Thursday Thunder

Desired Qualifications
- DSLR preferred
