Job Summary
Assist in preparing engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids while supporting fieldwork activities such as site inspections, surveys, and GPS mapping. Research, collect, and enter data to interpret technical results, review submittals for compliance, and prepare draft documents. Create and update CAD, GIS drawings, cost-estimating databases, and design templates. This Spring 2027 internship at Verdantas in Fort Mitchell, KY, offers hands-on exposure to environmental consulting projects with mentorship from experienced professionals. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Civil 3D
- Experience in Microsoft Word
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to write effectively
- Ability to articulate outcomes to clients and team members
- Previous engineering Co-Op or Internship experience
