Job Summary
Assist with tax preparation and related client work while gaining exposure to tax, accounting, and other areas of the firm. Work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to client engagements and apply classroom knowledge to real-world accounting and business situations. Participate as an active member of the team, taking ownership of assigned work to develop technical, analytical, and communication skills. Available to work an average of 30–40 hours per week from January through April 15. This internship is designed to help you build professional relationships and see what a career at Wilkins Miller can look like.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate for a degree at a school of accountancy
- Have a cumulative overall and major GPA of 3.0
- Available to work an average of 30–40 hours per week during the internship, approximately January through April 15
- Must be highly motivated
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to learn
