Job Summary
Blue Origin is seeking a Spring 2027 Structural & Mechanical Systems Engineering Intern to work with engineering teams on projects involving design, analysis, and test of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures. The internship is full-time for 15 weeks, with mentorship and opportunities to gain hands-on, real-world experience across multiple engineering domains. Housing and relocation support are provided. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or eligible for U.S. work authorization and currently be enrolled in a graduate program. Include internship, co-curricular and research experience in your resume and relevant programming language experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
- Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for space.
