Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Manage patient care for an assigned group while reflecting the hospital's values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Maintain licensure as an RN in Georgia in good standing and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Complete the 7p-7a shift schedule as part of the Spring 2027 Pulmonary Thoracic Care Unit Residency Program at Northside Hospital, an award-winning state-of-the-art facility expanding quality care in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
