Job Summary
Conduct in-depth market research supporting Buy-Side, Sell-Side, Restructuring, and Capital Markets business development and mandate execution. Assist in creating comparative valuation methodologies, including comparable analysis, market sizing, and precedent transactions. Analyze M&A market trends to produce industry-specific research and prepare financial analysis for clients across sectors. Collaborate on developing marketing collateral for sale processes, financings, assessments, and pitches while engaging with existing and prospective client bases. Provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders and manage competing timelines and priorities on engagements. Work collaboratively with team members toward shared goals. Spring cycle (January through June 2027); 40 hours weekly; hybrid model with 4 days in-office.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 4 or 5-year academic institution
- Outstanding academic record (3.5 GPA minimum)
- Successfully completed one co-op in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit strong attention to detail
- Business acumen
- Business writing
- Work ethic
- Proactive, self-starter in nature
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated research experience
- Proven ability with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the three financial statements
- Familiarity with financial analysis and financial modeling
- Can manage multiple priorities effectively
- Manages up and across to proactively keep others up-to-date on progress and challenges
- Available between the normal business hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm EST
- Required to provide at least 40 hours weekly
- 4 days per week in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Co-op preferably in investment banking, capital markets, restructuring, private equity or venture capital
- Proficiency in SourceScrub, CapIQ & Salesforce
