Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department independently, following physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Manage patient care for an assigned group while upholding the hospital's philosophy of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia in good standing and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Complete the 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift rotation within the award-winning state-of-the-art facility.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
