Job Summary
Spray application of chemicals while maintaining awareness of chemical safety and following instructions accurately. Provide instruction to other crew members and report to the Chem Spray Manager. Commit to safety protocols and complete assigned tasks. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs with continuous bending, stooping, and twisting. Work 8+ hours daily in extreme conditions near automotive traffic and natural bodies of water, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Requires a Washington State Pesticide License and bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Pesticide License
- QAL
- Ability to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
- 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
