Spray-In Bedliner & Automotive Installation Technician

Job Summary
Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and protecting surrounding areas before applying spray-in bed liners and finishing materials per manufacturer specs. Install aftermarket automotive parts including running boards, tonneau covers, lighting systems, and wheels while performing pre- and post-installation quality checks. Troubleshoot electrical issues, wire components, and fabricate custom brackets as needed. Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and complete accurate work orders and invoices. Provide customer service advice on accessory selection. Occasionally travel to other locations for support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience applying spray-in bed liners, automotive coatings, industrial coatings, or similar materials
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to repeat the same or similar movements
- Good vision, including depth perception
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment
- Ability to type on a keyboard
- Ability to hear and talk
- Must PASS a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an applicable apprenticeship
- Previous experience installing aftermarket automotive parts and accessories
- Automotive paint, bodywork, surface-preparation, or refinishing experience
