Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fireproofer to apply fireproofing materials to structural steel and other surfaces, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, mixing and applying materials, inspecting work for compliance, and maintaining tools and equipment. Collaboration with team members is essential for timely project completion. The ideal candidate has proven experience in fireproofing, knowledge of relevant materials and safety regulations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fireproofer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of fireproofing materials, methods, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in fireproofing or a related field is a plus.
