Job Summary
Prepare solutions, suspensions, or emulsions for atomization and configure equipment parameters such as temperatures, flow rates, and pressure to ensure GMP compliance. Execute batch records in real time, perform equipment cleaning, and conduct line setup, format changes, and clearances. Execute first-level maintenance on discs, nozzles, and filters, generate maintenance requests for failures, and analyze equipment issues to restore production. Perform sampling and in-process controls, participate in equipment qualification and process validation, and author documentation for setup and operation. Train new employees as an On the Job Qualified Trainer while ensuring safety compliance and reporting incidents to the EHS department. Comply with the production schedule and quality system guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience operating spray drying equipment in pharmaceutical production
- Professional bachelor's degree in industrial processes, chemistry, agri-food, biochemistry, or equivalent
- Strong experience with spray drying processes, to the level that you can train new employees to operate equipment to an autonomous level
- Thorough knowledge of GMP
- Fluent in English
