Job Summary
Spotter/Shuttle Driver role operating as a cross-town shuttle for Kraft Heinz at the Champaign Complex. Responsibilities include learning and performing spotting and shuttling of trailers, loading/unloading, operating semi-trucks (standard and automatic), and using a yard management system. Must wear PPE, comply with safety policies, participate in KHMS audits, and ensure safe equipment operation. Requires Class A CDL with manual transmission endorsement, DOT Medical Card, two years of verifiable Class A experience, ability to read/write, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 pounds; shift is 3rd, with a pay rate of $27.43/hr plus shift premium. Training and adaptability to handle multiple jobs and collaborate with others are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with a manual transmission endorsement
- DOT Medical Card
- Two years verifiable Class A commercial driving experience
- Ability to read, write, do simple math and learn a computerized yard management system
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate semi-truck (standard and automatic) and perform spotting/shuttle duties
