Job Summary
Operate Stud Welding and Resistance Welding machines to manufacture STERIS products, ensuring quality and safety through precise setup, inspection, and communication. Train other employees and maintain cleanliness in the work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED required
- Minimum two years experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Must demonstrate ability to use a stud welder
- Must be able to read and interpret welding blueprints
- Must be able to use precision measuring instruments and gages
- Must be capable of lifting 40 pounds without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Ability to assist with training other operators
