Job Summary
Oversee the Sports Book Room during shifts by adjusting odds and point spreads, setting up events, and managing all betting wagering systems. Ensure computerized betting and mobile app wagering functionality while troubleshooting with vendors and notifying personnel of outages. Provide training and direction to hub room staff, manage breaks and lunches, and schedule personnel. Communicate results and reports to management daily, protect company assets, and work the front line of Race and Sports book operations when necessary. Deliver excellent customer service and convey wagering information to satellite properties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of odds-making experience
- Minimum 5 years of sports book supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of sports data feeds
- Extensive knowledge of computerized risk management systems
- Decision-making skills in high pressure situations
- Critical thinking
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
