Job Summary
Sports Technician with an Associate degree in a related field. Supports physician in sports medicine, including back-office duties, rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting in procedures such as Tenex and PRP. Applies casts/splints, DME, orthotics, and manages post-procedure dressings while maintaining infection control. Provides patient education, performs basic triage per office protocols, coordinates Workers’ Compensation paperwork, and collaborates with the Sports Medicine Clinic Lead. Requires BLS certification and AAOE Casting and Splinting Certificate; on-site role in Truckee, CA. DOE and order-specific responsibilities may affect rate.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) Casting and Splinting Certificate
