Job Summary
Conduct onsite and remote testing of athletes using specialized equipment including VALD timing gates, Vmaxpro Velocity Sensors, and IMU units to assess football performance and athlete-product interactions. Create documented test protocols in Excel and PowerPoint, then analyze raw data via Python, Matlab, and internal tools to generate biomechanical evaluations and quantitative assessments. Manage data post-processing, upload results to client servers, and produce comprehensive reports detailing individual, team, and population outcomes. Prepare monthly share-outs for the Athlete Performance Football team to communicate conclusions and next steps. Report 80% onsite availability at the Herzogenaurach Innovation Lab with full-time capacity through August 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Sports Science Product Tester experience
- Expertise in administering a battery of tests
- Proficiency with VALD timing gates
- Proficiency with Polar Heart Rate chest straps
- Proficiency with Vmaxpro Velocity Sensor
- Proficiency with A-Champs RoxPro Rebounder
- Proficiency with Playermaker IMU
- Proficiency with Eurogoal 1500
- Proficiency with Senaptec Sensory Station
- Proficiency with Reflexion Edge
- Ability to create clear instructions in documented form using MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct onsite tests with athletes
- Ability to provide professional consultancy towards athletes regarding test performance
- Programming tool proficiency (Python, Matlab, Excel, internal Athlete Data Management tool)
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports
- Ability to prepare share-outs (PowerPoint) on monthly basis or towards milestones
- Biomechanical evaluation capability
- Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative assessment of individual tests
- Ability to integrate subjective feedback by testers/athletes
- Ability to upload data into client servers
- Ability to communicate findings to wider Athlete Performance Football team and project specific internal stakeholders
- 80% onsite availability (Herzogenaurach)
- 20% remote availability
- Full-time capacity (40h/week)
