Job Summary
Freelance Sports Reporter to anchor, report remotely, and produce enterprise sports content across TV and digital platforms. Responsibilities include anchoring in-studio, reporting remotely, shooting, writing, editing, and producing stories and sportscasts; creating basic graphics; contributing to editorial pitches; optimizing material for on-air, online, and streaming audiences; and leveraging social media to engage viewers. Requires strong visual storytelling, photography/editing skills, multi-platform content production, and ability to meet daily deadlines while working flexible schedules in a dynamic news environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in a top 10 market preferred
- Dynamic storytelling and interviewing abilities
- Team collaboration in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in shooting, writing, editing, and creating basic graphics
- Experience with multi-platform content production
- Knowledge of professional, college, and high school sports
- Strong social media and digital engagement skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work flexible schedules (evenings, weekends, holidays)
